The following verbs indicate the subject causes the object to experience the emotion.
For example:
Root: bosan – bored
- Add confix, i.e. prefix me- and suffix -kan simultaneously → membosankan – boring
- In a sentence: Pesta tadi malam membosankan saya.
- Meaning: Last night party bored me.
In many cases where the object is understood by everyone, you can omit the object.
- Pesta tadi malam membosankan.
- Last night party was boring.
You can add an adverb to emphasize the situation.
- Pesta tadi malam sangat membosankan.
- Last night party was really boring.
