Bahasa Kita and The Indonesia Institute is proud to work alongside The Consulate General for the Republic of Indonesia Perth, with the supports of WILTA (Westralia Indonesian Language Teachers Association) and Balai Bahasa Indonesia Perth Inc to sponsor the 1st Annual Bahasa Indonesia Students Awards in Western Australia.
We invite all principals and secondary school teachers in Western Australia to nominate students who excelled in Indonesian Language classes in 2022 to be awarded for their outstanding efforts during the 1st Annual Bahasa Indonesia Students Awards. The awards night will be held at the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia in Perth on the 27th of April.

We encourage Schools to nominate one student who has finished studying Indonesian from Year 8 (currently in year 9) and one from Year 11 (currently in year 12). This could be, for example, the student with the highest mark in 2022 or other characteristics deemed noteworthy by members of the school executive or their Bahasa Indonesia teachers/mentors.
Bahasa Kita has been providing learning resources for Indonesian language learners and teachers since 2006.
