diversiRISK cards simulate cultural threats and opportunities that interrupt our ethnocentric expectations of “how things should be.”
RISK cards present situations that challenge you culturally and tell you one possible way of reacting to the circumstance. Players are then asked to discuss the card, imagining themselves in those circumstances.
There can be either positive + or negative – RISK cards, determined by the cultural appropriateness of the reaction or the consequence of the situation proposed.
RISK + cards are rewarded with 4 Points while RISK – cards are discarded and the points are seen as lost opportunity.
